Repurposed with Style: Barnwood Table

May 28, 2011

I’m doing some container gardening this year (which I will post about eventually), and I needed a sturdy table to keep out on the deck for some pots of lettuce and flowers. The hubby offered to make me one, and asked me what my needs were. I told him I wanted it to be high enough that I don’t break my back when working with  the veggies, semi-attractive due to it going on the deck, and some room for storage underneath would be a bonus. He used the salvaged barnwood that went into our headboard, and other cool repurposed projects, and he built me a fine garden table!

Here it is!

It’s perfect, and I love its rustic appeal! Now I just need to get some photos of my container garden!

Awesome job! My hubby has his own woodworking business and does a lot of barnwood, too. It’s very satisfying to make such beautiful stuff out if recycled products.
